Terms and Conditions
Please note: There will be a 5% service charge on all credit card refunds resulting from a class that you cancel.
There will be no service charge on store credits. The service charge will not apply if the class is cancelled by us.
Class & Cancellation Policies
Format: All classes are hands-on and include a full meal, unless otherwise noted. Instructors reserve the right to alter menus due to seasonal availability of ingredients.
Time of class: All weekday evening classes begin promptly at 6pm, and last approximately 3 to 3-1/2 hours. The starting time for weekend and mid-week, day-time classes vary; please check the schedule for the starting time of your class.
Appropriate attire for students: Your classes will take place in a working kitchen, and you will be standing for most of the duration of your class. Therefore, for your safety and comfort, we strongly recommend that you wear flat-soled, closed toed, comfortable shoes and comfortable clothing to class.
Payment: Payment is due at time of reservation (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash and personal checks are accepted). Space is limited. If the class is full, your name may be placed on a waiting list.
Cancellation Policies: Evening and weekend classes: For evening and weekend classes, we will refund class fees for your cancellation up to one week before the scheduled class. Up to 48 hours before the class, we will issue a store credit for the class fees. No refunds or credit can be given for cancellations less than 48 hours before class. Please note special cancellation policy applicable to The Gourmet Series, Gourmet Weekend, and WSET Certification Course below.
If you are using a Groupon for payment, our cancelation policy requires a minimum of 48 hours notice of cancelation before the class. If you cancel within the allowed time, we will reissue your Groupon code to be used at a later date. This cancelation policy applies with all payment methods. The Groupon will not be considered as store credit until the expiration of the Groupon. At the expiration date of the Groupon (one year from date of issue), your Groupon will be converted to store credit of $45, the amount you paid for the Groupon. The Gourmet Series, Gourmet Weekends and WSET: For these classes involving more than 1 day of class, we will refund class fees for your cancellation up to 2 weeks before the first scheduled day of class. Up to one week before the first day of class, we will issue a store credit for the class fees. No refunds or credit can be given for cancellations less than one week before the first day of class.

Laguna Culinary Arts reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or substitute instructors if necessary. Upon cancellation we will contact you by phone or e-mail. You will have the choice of either transferring your payment to another class or receiving a refund or store credit. |
