Laguna Culinary Arts Adventures specializes in small-group, personalized travel with a culinary focus. We believe that in order to understand the cuisine of a region, you must experience the local history, culture and customs, so each of our trips offers a balance of culinary delights, historical & cultural activities and outdoor activities for our guests to enjoy.

LCAA offers trips to enticing overseas and domestic destinations. Each one of our trips is fully researched and tested by our team to ensure the highest quality accommodations, cuisine and activities, and our trips are run by the company’s principles who will meet you at the designated “pick up” point and transport you off to your adventure. Our guest-to-staff ratio averages 2:1, ensuring a personal touch for each guest, and ensuring all of our guests’ needs are attended to.

We strive to find charming but high-quality private accommodations in each location, indicative of the local culture. Whether we are in an 18th century chateau in France, a country manor house in Spain, or a small inn in Sonoma, our goal is to allow our guests have the run of the property and feel at home. As a culinary focused trip, we will visit the local markets and meet the local vendors, as well as enjoying lovely picnics of local fare in breathtaking locations. We’ll visit local producers, including wineries, that are not otherwise accessible to the public, and our chef will teach our guests how to prepare the local dishes, using local products, in hands-on cooking classes through-out the week.

Unlike other “culinary” trips, we understand that you are on vacation, and while you may love to cook, you don’t want to get stuck in the kitchen everyday. All of our trips include personalized visits to the most interesting local sites, whether they are villages, castles, monasteries or prehistoric caves. We include plenty of outdoor activities to enable our guests to experience the local surroundings, and to allow them to work off a little of the great food and wine that is included with each trip! We also understand that our guests want to be able to relax, so each trip itinerary has plenty of “down time” for reading, walking or just relaxing. All activities are optional, so there is no pressure to “join the group” if you prefer to opt out of a particular excursion.
